Welcome to Minky & Prickett

Minky & Prickett began with a love of making handmade gifts for the special people in my life. I learned to sew when my children were little and what started out as making them bibs and burp cloths grew into making gifts for other family members and friends, and eventually into helping others give thoughtfully handmade gifts to the special people in their lives.

Everything here is carefully designed and handmade in small batches, with a focus on natural fabrics, quality materials, and careful construction, because handmade should also mean well-made.

I love choosing fabrics, mixing patterns, and creating pieces that are useful enough for everyday life, but special enough to give as a gift.

No two pieces are exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes them so lovely.

Minky & Prickett Thrift Edition: Giving old threads new life

Old linens, vintage fabrics, and preloved textiles still have stories to tell and life to live. Each Thrift Edition piece has a little history stitched in, but is transformed into something new and given fresh purpose. I source quality, natural fabrics for my Thrift Edition pieces as well.
